Graduated from Buena Regional High School and began a 20 year career in Food & Beverage / Customer Service Management for Trump Resorts. In 2006 he teamed up with his husband of  years, Master Colorist / Stylist David Velasco to create and open Daja Hair Salon, hence the name Da ( David ) & Ja ( James ). Daja has become one of the top salons in South Jersey and is now entering its 16th year.

David graduated from Atlantic City High School and began his schooling for cosmetology at Atlantic County Institute of Technology. David worked in various salons mastering the art and in 2002 he became an Educator for Cosmetology training everywhere from New York City to Seattle.  In 2006 David went to Paris were he received his title of Master Color Educator. Now in 2022 David is one the most sought out hair colorist / stylists in New Jersey

Linda had a very long and successful career in customer service management and retired in 2013. After intense Salon Management education, she joined Daja as the front desk manager.  Linda has earned several awards in Customer Service and Management in her career. Joining Daja in 2013, she became a huge asset to the company with her exceptional customer service experience.

Katie graduated from Atlantic City High School, where she had already started Beauty school in her junior year at Atlantic County Institute of Technology. Katie has had continuous education in cosmetology and has become one of the areas top stylists.

Christian graduated from Paramus High School and moved on to graduate from Joilie Health & Beauty Academy. He continued his education specializing in Balayage, Ombre, Color, fashion color. Christian also specializes in highlights, he is certified in Brazilian Blow Out and attended Master Classes at Wella Academy in SoHo New York.

Annie is originally from Columbia but moved to America over 20 years ago. A graduate from Jolie Beauty Academy, Annie has mastered her skills and perfected her art in cut & color.

Today, Annie has become the quickest growing stylist, Certified in Braiding, Brazilian

Blowout, Barbering, Eye Wax / Tattoo and color. Annie is married with 2 children
